I don't hold with the idea that gender is a hard-and-fast concept. I believe anyone should be able to live however they choose. They can dress how they want, do what they want, be who they are. I think that is great.
At the same time, I accept that biology is a thing. People are largely one sex or another, even if it can be complicated for some folks. I am aware of that. I have been there myself.
HOWEVER. Culture has not moved past gender yet. I fully understand why pronouns matter to people, and I will always respect however someone chooses to be addressed. I would expect the same courtesy in return.
For me specifically: he/him or she/her are both fine. Use whichever feels right based on how you see me, or what you know about me. I genuinely do not mind.
