Guidance and support
Adviser
Providing guidance and specialist support across welfare, debt, and community settings.
Advisory roles
My advice work has been delivered through Citizens Advice and through community and pastoral settings.
What I can help with
These are the areas where I have practical, case-based experience.
How a session works
The first conversation is about understanding your situation and what you need. From there we agree the next steps and what information or evidence is required.
- We start with the facts and the outcome you are seeking
- I explain the options, the relevant rules and the possible trade-offs
- We agree practical next steps and who does what
- I signpost or refer you when a specialist service is the better fit
Confidentiality and boundaries
Conversations are treated in confidence. I provide information, guidance and signposting, not legal representation. Where a case needs specialist legal advice, I refer people to the appropriate service.
Advice is provided in a personal capacity. For urgent legal or financial matters, please contact the relevant specialist service or Citizens Advice directly.
Community and pastoral work
Alongside formal advice roles, I have supported community projects and pastoral care. That work has taught me to listen carefully, stay calm under pressure and explain complicated systems in plain language.
